On May 23, a seminar on cruise ships organized by ISWAN (International Seafarers Welfare Assistance Network) was held in Venice.
There were several presentations, highlighting that of the deacon Roger Stone of Southampton, the priest Giacomo Martino on the program of boarding with Costa Cruceros and reprising of said company. He also spoke to a CLIA representative (Cruise Lines International Association), which is the European association of all cruise companies that operate in European ports and that is emerging as a good partner to further promote boarding of priests.
It was also the assistance of the crew of cruise ships in port and the importance of having a center specially dedicated to them.
